The Big Day

He was so happy because he got to watch cartoons for a while in his bed. Then he got to ride in a wagon to where they did the surgery. They put him to sleep with gas and then put the IV in, I think that is so smart! The surgery went really well.
They brought him back in his bed, he was pretty groggy but awake. He was looking at me like he couldn't believe I'd put him through this. I did feel guilty, he looked so sad. I know it's going to save him from a lot of sore throats in the end though. He slept for a little more than an hour. I was so glad he didn't get sick like Bekah did! He woke up a few times and asked for water.
Here is his reward for going through all of that. I got this toy for about 75 percent off at Target a few weeks ago. It was a perfect toy for him while he gets better, with lots of activities to do. He's really been doing well, feeling good. He was up and around today, pretty much like normal.

We are all so glad that Jo got through this with what sounds like flying colors. We hope he continues to do this well and his toy looks fun.
