I got this chair at a garage sale for $4.25! It was labeled a sewing chair. The seat lifts up and there is a place for thread. I have never seen a chair like this, but I love it. I had so much fun recovering it!
That chair is just darling! Great find and great job recovering it. I'm sure you'll treasure it for a while and get great use out of it (sewing or not)!

I love it! Love the fabric and love the idea of having a little seat that opens to store your stuff in. . .kind of like a little piano bench.
