Fun Stuff

These are the kinds of things the boys find to do during the day. This was a couple of weeks ago, but I just thought it was too funny to not post. The boys decided to unload the diapers and cotton balls and extra clothes from the antique sewing machine cabinet (Alan's grandma's old sewing machine) that I store them in. They really had fun "swimming" around in the pile. I did make them help me pick it all up afterwords!

Pink Eye

Jonah got pink eye on Wednesday, he also had an ear infection so they gave him an antibiotic for both. He has looked a little scary the past two days! Last night Sam threw up at about 1a.m. He was so tired he just sat on the little potty chair in the bathroom by the toilet while I cleaned him and his bed. I never like getting up in the night, but I feel like I'm in total "mom" mode when it happens. I tucked Sam back into bed, gave him a bucket, and hoped for the best. He did throw up a little more on his bed, but just moved himself and his blanket to a pillow on the floor for the rest of the night (right in front of the door so I couldn't open it in the morning). In the morning, he seemed pretty good, a little warm. Then I noticed his left eye. No doubt about it, pink eye. Another trip to the doctor's office and a perscription for eye drops. I've seen way too much of the pharmacy this week! Hopefully Bekah will stay well this round, she already had strep throat, so she's had her sick time, right?
